The Saturday Morning Club is just a way for your child to be introduced to the sport of football. There is no structured training taking place and the children are there just for a fun kick about under the watchful eye of our coach Ray. These sessions take place at Altwood School throughout the year and are held between 9:30 and 10:30 each Saturday morning. Currently they are based in the school gym, but will move out to the grounds at the back of the school once the weather allows. They are aimed at children aged 5 and 6 and there is a reasonable charge of £1.50 to cover costs.
So, if your child is currently 5 or 6 years old then why not take them along one Saturday? Simply turn up at the gym (the entrance to which can be found down the side of the school, opposite the tennis courts) or contact the FA qualified coach Ray Shearsmith on 01628 825569 or 07767 256731 for more details.
Finally, please note that the club welcomes both boys and girls but does not currently run any girls only teams at older age groups.
